The food and beverages industry, which has reached 7 trillion dollars worldwide and 400 billion dollars in Turkey, gathered for trading at CNR Food Istanbul. Greeting over 2.000 brands and 2.500 buyers from more than 20 countries, including the Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Macedonia, Kosova, Albania, Afghanistan, France, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Poland, the exhibition yielded trade agreements worth billions of dollars. Ice made of 23.70-karat gold grabbed the most attention. A gold ice cube, which the rich, particularly from the Middle East, use in their beverages, costs €12.

The significant contribution to the export of 10 billion dollars
Jordan and Afghanistan participated in the exhibition with their national pavilions. The food and beverages industry, which has reached 400 billion dollars in Turkey, left its mark on the industry. One of the key industries of the Turkish economy thanks to its added value and export activities, the Turkish food and beverages industry, was represented by shining companies with great success. Employing around 600 thousand people from nearly 50 thousand entities, the Turkish food and beverages industry added new markets to the export exceeding 10 billion dollars.

Companies from the Netherlands, Iraq, Iran, Macedonia, Kosovo, Albania, Afghanistan, France, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Somalia, Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Poland displayed their products at the exhibition, which grabbed attention with Confectionery Special Section and Special Beverages and Gourmet Special Section. Domestic and international producers and industry professionals from all over the world reviewed new trade opportunities. CNR Ambalaj Istanbul - Food Processing, Filling & Packaging Technologies Special Section took place concurrently with CNR Food Istanbul. Hundreds of brands by over 50 industry-leading companies introduced their products at the special section.
